My friend Leland is a very talented photographer currently working on an amazing series on Burlesque dancers. He was a NYC cab driver in the “Taxi Driver” early 70’s. As a part of the CBGB’s scene he took truly unique photos of the groundbreaking bands who played on that storied stage. He was a drummer in bands that released two albums. He has lived in the same loft (formerly part of “Tin Pan Alley“) on W28th St. since the mid 70’s. And he is a genuinely nice guy,
